A board of Directors and a number of different committees carry out the Association’s activities.  All activities are governed by the Association’s by-laws.  Members of the Board of Directors are elected by the membership, and the board appoints committee members.  The board generally meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.  Parents and members are encouraged to attend any of the board meetings, but should verify the date and location.

The NRYHA is operated entirely by parent volunteer help.  As a parent you will be called upon to participate in the operation of the Association.  Committee work included fundraising, coach’s recruitment and development, promotions, publicity, tournaments and communications.  Parents are also needed to serve as team managers, coaches, jersey and equipment managers and board members.  Please consider where you can contribute to the betterment of our association.  Your involvement will offer opportunities to meet other parents in the Association, and you will experience the satisfaction of providing the highest quality youth hockey program for all of our skaters.
