			Practice Information

One of the most important aspects of the New Richmond Mite program is to work with players to learn the basic skating and puck handing skills necessary to play hockey.  Developing good habits at this age not only makes playing more fun, but also better prepares the kids for the advanced concepts that will be introduced as they get older. 

Below are some of the basic practice plans that the Mite coaches will be following throughout the year.  Note that specifics will change as necessary....these templates should act as a guide for parents who want to be more familiar with the on-ice activities.
