As a nonprofit organization, NRYHA relies on volunteer hours to help keep the rink organized and clean for our members and visitors. The rink has a number of weekly duties that need to be completed to keep our facilities running.
One of the biggest challenges is coordinating and prioritizing these needed efforts. To address, we are adding a weekly checklist of needed tasks that our members can reference. The checklist will be located in the concession stand.
How to Complete Volunteer Hours?
It is easy as One, Two, Three…
One
Request the checklist at the concession stand and select a task
Ask a concession for the clipboard to see what needs to be done for the night.
TWO
Complete the task
Brooms and dust pans are located in the closet by the women's bathroom.
Cleaning supplies and garbage bags are located in the men's bathroom pantry.
Not sure where something is located? Ask a Member. Other members are always a great resource.
Three
Fill out a Volunteer Hour slip and have it signed by the responsible contact listed on the checklist

Kyle Thomas – Rink Zamboni Operator (if Shawn isn't around, chances are Kyle could be covering.
Team Mangers – every team has an assigned team manager that can sign off on volunteer hours
